Anyone recommend a dealer close to the Newcastle area? Just been to my local dealer and the deal they've offered me doesnt appear to be too good. Been offered a new fr tdi with convenience pack and bluetooth for £17,250.

As well contacting Irfan above also try Simon Chapman at Autoworld Sheffield, picked up mine on Thursday (see spec below) for not much more than you've been quoted. Simon is a top guy, even picked us up from the train station and others on here will recommend him too. Tell him Mark referred you

alexander bridge (makemland) reckon they will better any deal.

i got their best offer and went back to my local (newcastle) dealership, and they matched it and chucked in mats and a half tank of petrol.

(i would have payed more anyway rather than spend it in wearside!)

salesman claimed that you cant buy from seatdirect if you have a north east postcode, yet I can get the same car through them for £16,500. To rub salt into the wound they even offered me £500 less for my trade in when they came back with a supposed better deal.

Well managed to speak to a sensible salesman today, told him what I wanted and what price I was prepared to pay. I'm getting emocion red with convenience pack, bluetooth, side skirts and spoiler. Just waiting on my delivery date which should come through tomorrow. Starting to get excited now
