An old member returns after an affair

Hey all,

I used to post on here a few years ago. I used to have an 8v Cupra in red, but i sold it ............ for a Supra. However, lives change, mortgages come along, and something described as responsibility So earlier this week i got shot a the Supra, and reacquired an 8v Cupra.

My old Cupra was pretty much standard baring a magnex back box and piperx induction kit. This one has however been lowered, put on 17's, has Mk3 interior, what looks like a Remus exhaust, but can't tell, and an induction kit.

It's pretty tidy all things considered. There's a couple of things i want to change. Ideally i want to get a 16's put on it as the ride is a wee bit too harsh for my liking, and i think i might put the standard airbox back in if i can find one cheap.

Ice wise it's got a Sony DVD player head unit, and a screen mounted in the roof for rear passenger comfort, as well as a set of whopping great jbl speakers in the rear parcel shelf. It does also have a 12" sub, but i don't need or want it, so thats gonna be up for grabs soon.

it is an exhaust surround jobbie, it's nicley done proper metal, not just sticky back faux metal either!

Hi Andy,

Since you sold your original 8v to me I got rid of the induction kit, sold the Magnex and now have a Mk3 20vt exhaust on it now. Will get that front wing repaired one of these years!

the 17's spoil the ride in my opinion, it needs 16s really. I'm also planning to change some bits back to oem. It's a bit red in the interior the hand brake and gear knob are all red, personally i preferred the original details, and i think it would look better. Might also get an airbox back in at some point. i can't believe you've left the dent in that long Small! i suupose it gives it character

Mine came with 117K old shocks on some cheap lowering springs, had a pedal cart as a kid with a better ride!
Hopefully getting some 16" compromotive MO's and a new suspension kit in the next couple of weeks andbe able get to get to a desinatoin with all my teeth!
