Hello
I'm researching a new company car and have it down to a Skoda Octavia vRS TDi and Seat Leon FR TDi. I currently drive a two year old Skoda Octavia Elegance and don't really fancy another couple of years sat behind the same dash although admittedly the rest of the car will be vastly different.
So i'm quite swayed towards the FR, the above fact combined with the fact that I have requested three quotes on each car from various sources and have had a two quotes for the Seat out of the six
Visited Alexander Bridge Cars in Sunderland and had a look at the FR in Candy white they have in the showroom, GF wasn't overly impressed but I really love the look of it, dash isn't as pleasent but the rest of the interior is quite sporty.
Test drove a Reference Sport I think and found the ride to be quite firm, is this what I can expect from an FR or is it even harder with the 18's on? My boss has a 140 TDi Audi S-Line with 18's on and although it feels made for 80+ on the motorway it can sometimes feel very skittish when the surface is poor. I do 25k miles per year and don't want to have to see a chiropracter every 3 months!
I've got a quote on FR TDi, Candy White, WP, CP, Bluetooth and dealer fit reversing sensors. Leased on 3 years 25k a year for £301 anyone else lease a similar car? Is the cost about right?
I notice the servicing is every 10k compared to my Octavia which is about 20k! Salesman reckons that a service is about half what i'd pay at a Skoda dealer so it should even out, i'm not so sure. How much has anyone else paid for a 10k, 20k service.
Cheers!
