Belt wasnt out at tooth or anything, although it is very easy to get the timing out slightly. Cam timing is spot on as well. There was nothing mechanically wrong with the car at all.

So i'm guessing its a dodgy connection on the cam position sensor as it donest feel too good so i'm gonna pack the contacts with dielectric grease.

But otherwise its flying and i'm back in love with it. There isnt anything at the moment thats broken. lol. Although i do need a decent turbo to charge pipe hose. Will be logging and fiddling to my hearts content soon.

HB9 T9 plus some lemmiwinks here we come. ;)

Hey Phil, keep an eye on the ARB brackets, two of the nuts have come loose and come off.
I will have to pick up some new ones today, and get some loctite on the threads.

Failed mot:
2 new tyres needed (sorting sat)
Chipped windscreen (sorting today)
And they noticed one of the nuts on the ARB had come off. (Will replace two missing ones today.)

No, its Nearside Front, (takes all the abuse from the roundabouts) and offside rear, which is the oldest tyre on there.

As for the nuts, I've asked Bill if he can tell me the size / thread of the nut so i can buy replacement ones, and then get some loctite.

Good news and bad news. Good news is, joint is fine, but bolts that hold it into the dif have been sheared. Had this on Drivers side last year. Bad news, I now have a joint worth £75 sat in the garage as a spare.
Going to get some high tensile bolts from work tonight to try out.

Its been a productive morning so far, just cracked my windscreen. (Woohoo)

Phil, you got any idea what size the nuts are on the ARb brackets, by any chance?

Got my car back from the service,

It was £416.00

That was a new water pump, cam belt, oil & filter change, spark plugs, sump plug etc.

They used 10 40w semi synthetic oil is this a bad move ?

I might do it at some point but i'm not sure yet. It annoys me coz its an ugly afterthought pipe that makes it a nightmare to change your plugs and coil packs.
