Tom, stupid question but did you check the lambda sensor was the correct one? Reason i'm asking is Jonzy bought one the other day and the wrong one was delivered.

Yeah Phil, will deffo have to do that, you got any idea of how to do it?

I was gonna make up something like this,
LTasssembled1.JPG

To test the FMIC, for pressure loss, but it would have involved removing the fmic, blocking the outlet side, and then taking it to a garage with a pressure line and setting that to about 15psi.

If you have any idea's that'd be great. Cars getting me down now, just want to drive it, the way it should be driven, and get some good MPG on it.
I have a feeling it may fail to the MOT on Emissions tomorow because of the ongoing fault!

Right, here goes.

Option 1.

Get something similar to that which you attached to the charge pipe on the turbo side and pressurise the whole system. Just attach it and fill with air keeping an eye on the gauge.

Option 2.

Similar to above but might be easier. you block the charge pipe to turbo connection and attached the air gun to the N75 connection to blow air down it that way.

Eithe options the car must be in neutral and the hand brake on tight.

If you want to pop up sunday i'll do yours and mine.
