Ok, so my one of my Bosch HID's went about 3 weeks ago,
So after 20odd days of being lazy, not looking and not testing I've finally bought a replacement set!
Keeping the Bosch one that works for my old boys bike!
Cheap ones! Pretty much the price of decent normal bulbs!

Theres a few members on uk-mkivs.net using these with good reports
They come with 18month warrenty so cant be too bad!
Only draw back is the long delay in postage!
I'll let you know how these perform in comparison to my Bosch ones!

Go on treat yourselfs!

Wow cheap, would be interesting to see a comparison to the 'Decent' HID kits available.

WOO HOO!
They arrived! Not too bad! 5 days delivery from hong kong and enough stamps on the front to make a collector cum!
Must say first impressions are very good! Packaging was superb, wraped well and no bashes and box was brand new!

What's the deal with this ant MOT. I know technically it's a fail with these. But I thought they didn't check, or weren't bothered about it. I was thinking of doing it, but was waiting for real darkness to hit.

I'm assuming it's no bother swapping the original bulbs back for the MOT as well.

How much was these ebay set BTW. ebay is blocked at work :(

Sounds nice and cheap but I wouldn't hold much hope with the 18 months warranty with a product from Hong Kong ;)
What guarantee is there that they will even consider honouring it? and I dread to think what the postage would cost to send it back for a replacement (remember without any sort of recorded delivery you wouldn't stand a chance at seeing a replacement)

Keep us updated though :D

Yup when we live in Hong Kong the lift sign in our flat read - "When there is a fire don't use the the lift"

What do you mean when there is a fire!!! LOL
