The lighting looks alittel lighter then the rest of the red?

alos does the AUX IPOD cable and the steerign wheel controls work with it? This was one fot he things i was most pleased about with the Cupra, the AUX and the steering wheel controls.
The lighting would be my dodgy camera taking and the flash. I'll try to get a pic at night to show how it all fits in.

No idea about the steering wheel controls though as I don't have them. And I presume the AUX should work as the facility is there, but the connector may be different? :shrug:

I actually think the aux in cable from your SEAT unit will fit the back of a Becker just fine!

They both have the same sockets on the back of them.

How much do people charge these days to fit, say and active enclosure?

I can do it myself, but as it'll be quite a new car I really don't want to take panels off etc, and if someone else does it, at least the wiring will be neat and tidy (well it better be!)

I know the local car audio place here would prob charge about £200 just to wire it in (no joke, they are silly prices).

That Becker looks really nice Ken!

Oooh at the right price hey! LOL Let me buy the car and see if I can seduce you with offers afterwards! :p

Couple of questions though;

1) Does the standard Cupra HU play MP3's? (A 2006 Cupra)

2) For an aftermarket HU do you need a fascia panel?

Mine didn't have MP3 and it's a 2006 model. Where's yours coming from btw?

And it's a standard sized DIN socket so no adaptor needed.

It's a Petrol one though mate! :)

I've not seen you about :( your more likely to see Pulsebass in his black mk3 cupra as he works in Colchester and is always around that mersea road sort of area.

I was, the tax was annoying me, but I worked it out;

I walk to work so no petrol use... I'll only use the car a couple of weeknights at at the weekend or something.

I'd be spending £100 a year more on tax for Petrol, but the mileage i'll be doing a year (7k or less) plus, for some bizarre reason, the TDI Insurance is £100 more than the petrol cupra for me... My old MK3 insurance price is the same as the MK4 Cupra insurance.

To be fair, i'd have taken either, I was looking for TDI and Petrol Cupra's, just managed to find a petrol one first.

MMMMMMM, that's looking pretty nice in there! Anyone know where:

A) To buy one from, and
B) Do the steering wheel controls in the Seat work with it?

I got mine from GPS Site as they had them in stock and price matched Pixmania who were the cheapest, but there's also an earlier version of mine in the For Sale section on here.

No idea about the steering wheel controls though as I don't have them. :shrug:
