just bought myself a ko3s, what else do i need to get to get the best out of the turbo as in the most power?? mods i already have listed below

dont necessarily need the 4bar fr matey.. Have you got an uprated downpipe fitted with your exhaust ? Race cat ??

Does samco hoses mean you have an uprated tip? as the standard ones are very restrictive, and as you say a 4bar but only if you plan to go stage 2 iirc.
You should really have a turbo back, but at least a bigger downpipe / sports cat as Dan says above.
Oh yeah and make sure you get decent discs and pads

to be honest, im not exactly 100% everything that my car has, i bought it like it is minus the coilovers!! can anyone tell from these photos?? feel a bit stupid really!! i plan to put a full miltek system on and a cat aswell
it says in your sig you have a 3" downpipe, if thats a blueflame one they come with a sports cat and mated with a supersprint exhaust will do just the same as a miltek if not better so dont waste your money.
And yes you have a TIP, its the big blue pipe that connects from your turbo to your maf / dynatwist and has the pcv and dump valve coming out from it.

just not 100% on my back box, i like the miltek twin pipe similar to the standard one, but not made up my mind yet.

im 100% it aint got one already, got that checked out by a mate, the one whos gona fit the ko3s, he a VW mater tech so alls good!! cheers for the help lads

he's a **** hot mech so i dont doubt him, plus he built a mk2 golf G60 edition one left hand drive, converted it to right hand drive and made it a 20v T, fastest car i've ever been it, and its absolutely mint!!! the boy knows his 20v T engines inside out so its all good

checking the vac hoses to the actuator is the easiest way of telling whether a fitted turbo is k03 or k03s...2 means k03, 1 means k03s
