MY08 changes

Just to let you all know ive just spoke to the dealer I pick my FR from on monday and asked him if i will have the MY08 changes on my car, to which he replied 'you will have the latest spec'. Hope I have those new seats. Ive taken a shine to them.

I think the MY08 cars have been around since july, so you will definatly get the 'latest spec'. just hope your dealer even knows about the new seats as we usually know more than they do!!

those seats do look good, you'll have to let us know when you pick it up on monday, fingers crossed

Id say yours will definately have them as its delivered Nov. Mine was ordered back in July so i still think its touch and go.

i was in the garage yesterday, somebody's 57 plate FR hasen't got them. it was only recently delivered aswell (still had those stupid foam bits on the corners) so I wouldn't hold your breath for the nice seats.

That of course is the European changes, dunno if they'll be passed through to the UK spec models.

latest ekta does NOT show these seats for the MY08 FR!!!!

Just got back from the dealers. No sign of any FRs with the Cupra seats.

I would have asked the salesman I was dealing with but he was new so I didn't bother.

Got my MY08 FR today. Same old seats as before.

Two changes I did notice :

Pirelli instead of Bridgestones. Wonder if this is due to the problems some reported on here.
No letters under the side indicators. Now you can't tell the difference between petrol and diesel when you see one parked somewhere.
