hello all,i have a 04 LCR 225 been searching the forum on exhausts and other stuff but theres so much stuff it confuses me :cry: i am getting my remap done this sat :D and was told it should be up to about 265bhp (ish) i have about £250-£300 left and i asked the guy about exhausts, he said the car has a good exhaust but mentioned the "cat" after speaking to my friend and confusing the hell out of me he mention the down pipe, basically i want to know what i can do to the exhaust for my price range, for the best increase in bhp? down pipe, de-cat or if anyone has any suggestions.

You won't get a full system for that. If it was my money I'd save another £100 and get some Neuspeed anti-roll bars.

265bhp is a bit optimistic, i would expect it to be around the 250bhp mark

A full blue flame turbo back exhaust system will cost you around £500, you could have one custom made but not sure how much that would cost, You would be looking at having a 3inch down pipe and a 100 cell cat for the best power gains.

A good cheap mod is the dogbone, only costs around £20 for the powerflex bushes

What is the dogbone?:help::headhurt::redface::doh:

Dog bone mount is the thing that stops the engine/gearbox moving about too much under hard acceleration,

And is; by far and away the best mod = ££££ you can do to your leon :D

If you do a search, there's literally hundreds of threads on this very topic :yes:

I'd agree with the speedsix, for £300 get the nuespeed arb's at least then your car will be more able to handle the extra horses, and not want to throw you into a hedge at the very first corner you come too ;)

Cat-Back Resonated

Cat back resonated, bolts to back of cat and has a middle silencer as well as a rear silencer

Non- resonated just has a rear silencer, and is slightly louder, if your referring to miltek...

Was a website but i can't remember the name of it!
I'll check the now!

Cupraloon is this the right part number for the Dogbone for a Leon cupra?

PFF85-420

on the powerflex website the search only covers the cupra R, i'm assuming its the same parts for the cupra and the cupra R?:confused:
