Looking much better mate, if the glue doesn't come off from where the spoiler used to be, I guess you'll have to buy a standard tailgate and reposition the number plate! ;)

For some reason your car has early MK2 Ibiza 1.4 rear lights, the standard ones are shown by surculation and a few others.

Yeh i got the rear lights from the scrappy after temporarily loosing mine.

Things have gone bad to worse now. Yesterday i lost more brake fluid. I couldnt see the leak but found it today and its the bottom of the brake fluid bottle AGAIN. Even with the new bottle it is doing it. So i believe the problem lies here:

yes that strutbrace is touching it. OMFG the strutbrace is hard to get off. Ive given up on this side:

i cant get to that 10mm bolt and that other one refuses to budge, i just cant keep hold of it hard enough with the grips. I only have one 13mm socket. so its either one for the bolt, or one for the nut. :( it sucks sooo bad. So im going to have to wait till tommorow for a mate to come round.

Can anyone suggest a strutbrace that i WONT have problems with.

Yes! Another Ibiza saved from the depths of hell! Good work fella, it's all worth it in the end.

My strut brace doesn't touch the brake reservoir cap or come anywhere near the coolant reservoir cap. Although, it does get in the way of the brake fluid cap I can still refill it.

Can i have a link to where you got it? How hard was it to fit it yourself?

Thanks.

Bolt can easily come off now:

Strutbrace off:

The seal isnt perfect, so when i move it about it dribbles abit out. ill see if it loses more without the forces of the strutbrace on it.

How do i get a bolt out of my hub that has snapped? Just grab it with plyers? or is there a tecnic?

The best way I'd say is to buy a bolt removing kit from machine mart. They're like little drill heads that you drill/screw in on a dye, once they've dug in they start to screw the bolt out.

My friend has some I've used . If its an extremely high tensile bolt I'm not sure. Can you fit two nuts on it? Thats always a good trick!
