I eventually got round to removing the EVAP / SAI yesterday as I had already removed the N249 etc previously and the battery now lives in the boot. The engine bay looks a lot tidier now with a lot more space to work with.

The car now idles slightly lumpy at times but it seems to pull harder. Not sure if i was being paranoid last night but i kept a close eye on my a/f gauge (narrowband) and noticed that it sits lean most of the time with the occasional dance across to the rich but it sits rich under load.

The wiring for the post cat lamba has been ripped off but this shouldn't effect the idling etc should it?

I wouldn't have thought removing any of above would have caused the car to run lean and i've double checked all vac lines and everything else i've taken off.

What did you guys do with the fuel vent line? block it or leave open?

hi baz. i have removed all that lot to, with regards to the fuel vent i have just vented it under the wing with a small breather filter on it and i've had no problems yet:). as for the post cat lambarda i was goin to remove mine once it was desabled but my revo dealer advised me it needs to remain in the circit othrwise it may cause some issues, so as my de-cat has no boss for it to screw in to i have mounted it on a small insulated alloy plate (as i may get warm) under the scuttle panel and all seems good so far.:D

Found the cause of the lean state. F*ck nuts here forgot to blank off one of the vac points on the bottom on the inlet manifold!!

Haven't fitted any of the resistor yet but the management light is on all the time at the mo cause of the second lambda, there's going to be heeeaps of codes on there

Had it on the rollers again, 250.3bhp & 250.0lbf-ft with 216.2 bhp at the wheels. So she's still runing sweet.:D

haven't got them yet just taped up the wires for now, check lights up all the time just now anyway due to the severed lambda lol.

I'll be getting them from old work or my brothers work.

I didnt use any resistors for the SAI, only the N249 bypass. Never get any codes either apart from incorrect flow maybe once every 6 months, which i used to get anyway with it still in place.
