Got it from me. :D

Guy down here in south wales does an awesome job and the same awesome job on wheel refurbs.

Was it Steve in Swansea? Seen some of his work (and he's done 2 sets of alloys for me) can't fault it! Awesome stuff! :D

Yeah jonny it is from steve, i think i reccomended you too him in the first place?

I've had two manifolds done by him now, the one kez has and the one i have. Both have taken a while as i dropped it off to him without needing it back asap.

In fact i've had a set of wheels done by steve.

Indeed you did! :D He's a very busy man, bit of a perfectionist - he actually did one set of alloys twice as he wasn't happy with the finish first time round.

Top bloke, excellent work :)

It's a bit of a trip to wales. How long does he take to do the wheel refurb? And at what price roughly?
Did he just polish up the inlet manifold for you or did he sell you the lot?

I believe he actually specialises in alloy polishing, but does alloy wheel refurbishing as a sideline.

He quoted me between 3-5 days for a set of alloys, depending on how bad they are. I wasn't in any rush to get them back as I had a spare set, was just over a week in the end.

I don't know if he's changed his pricing, but he charged me £45 per wheel which is a damn good price as he had the tyres stripped & re-fitted for me, and the CTR paint was about £30 per litre.

He had a set of gnarly looking BMW multispoke alloys there once, they were taking him around 10-12 hours each to do, but he still only charged the same! Nutter! I'd have charged double, the state they were in! :p lol

Looks good, although the transition from the dummy baffle box to the main diameter looks on the sharp side. Earlier pictures seemed to show quite a bit of wrinkling on the inside of the bend, that one seems okay though.

What's the OD, do the stock clamps fit? Not they'll match. The stock ones are stainless, if you fancy polishing them to match.

N75 outlet seems to be at a "funny" angle, should be okay though (as long as it doesn't hit the engine cover).

Does it have a little "pip" on the underside, about half way between the DV Outlet and the bend?

When you're swapping them over, be careful to have a quick check inside the stock turbo outlet hose (the red one) for splits/cracks.

Be careful not to overtighten the Hose clip on the N75 (you will need new), in fact consider running it without a hose clip. Position the DV hose clip before you bolt the whole thing down.

You can get the old one off if you have a strut brace, but if you're precious, stick a rag between it and the baffle box when you pull it off, and definietely put one in when you're fitting the new as it'l stratch like a bugger.
