I have the beast that is the Cupra TDI PD160, no mods. My comp reads out average between 45-55mpg. It all depends on the type of driving. If you look at the 'instant' mpg readout, then at 70mph on a flat road, she reads as 75mpg. On a town road, in 6th gear 30mph at about 1100rpm she will read over 110mpg, flooring it in second will show about 17mpg.
Forgetting the trip computer, my tank will last me anything from 375 - 425 miles, (depending on where I drive to and the roads). The type of driving style I have is .......erm.... ...'brisk'
Believe me, with MPG like this and the power with it you cant refuse yourself a good grin by burrying the throttle in the carpet every chance you get!
My point is that if my PD160 can attain these figures, then a PD130 remapped should be very similar. Not sure on the spec of the SportPD130, but if its got 5 gears, you would be better of getting a model with 6 of MPG is a deciding factor.
Oh by the way all, this will make you wince in agony with your group 4 insurance.... mine is group 16!
