JBS have made the manifolds but not the DP's so you'd have to go down there with the car once all mocked up for them to make you a DP.

Why not drop Bill a PM regarding his equal length ones?

Because you drive on the other side of the road, your steering wheel is on the other side of the car thus giving you more clearance. So therefore the same manifold will fit on yours as the steering rack doesnt get in the way.

Matt is fitting a proper turbo which has a T25 flange and will therefore not fit the atp manifold. He had to buy a mani to fit the T25 flange which unfortunately directed the turbo to the bulkhead which proved to be too tight.

Well, its official, iam ordering my a JBS equal length manifold toomorrow. Only bad point is it will take 2 - 3 weeks to come, and they dont have a jig for ibiza MK3 DP.

Also just be looking on garrett website and my version of the GT2871R can flow 475 BHP. hmmmm dunno about that.

So hopefully diff will turn up so i can do that, still plenty to do.

how much lag do you think it will have?

i'm thinking of using one of these on my mk2 20vt with a 1.9 bottom end.

I think with 1.9 it will be fine.

Iam staying 1.8 so slightly laggier, but it will be pulling hard from 3500 i would think.

You taking your car down to JBS for the DP? Mike said to me awhile back that if I got the manifold, got everything fitted then brought the car down to them he'd sort the manifold out.

Yeah he said the same to me, but how do i get my car there with no DP and exhaust, remember i live 10 miles south of the scottish border.

Its all a big hassle, but if doing this kinda thing was easy everyone would do it

At least i have a manifold solution.:funk:

It might not be as expensive as you think, we once bought a smashed VR6 for a conversion and found a local guy who does recovery and also will do pick ups, we went along with him on the 220mile round trip and it only cost £100!!!

Phone about, failing that a solid tow bar and a friend with a large diesel!!
