Yes it was from backdraft.

Thing is he said to me that because i was more than 200 miles away the delivery folk wouldn't garentee it coming today and would't refund if it didn't.

Whereas if i was less than 200 miles away they would refund if it didn't turn up.

Iam just impatient, my fault.

Backdraft phoned me today to say it had been returned to them for some reason, so i will be here toomorrw.

Impossible mani should be here toomorrow late afternoon as ANC ad a bomb scare as you said.

Then i have gotta fab a DP which wont be fun.

sooo looking forward to the next picture installment, how sad am i!! nah seriously though matt im loving the progress, tempted to do something hardcore with the golfs engine but i'd guess its gonna be more tired after 115,000 miles! apart from being slightly tappety she runs excellently though!

well today was very exciting, The Backdraft manifold turned up. Gotta say its a nicely made manifold.

So i bolted it on.

Added a turbo to it.

Needed clocking, so did that.

looking good i think. but also looking like it is a bit high for boost pipe but thought never mind will make it work.

So took turbo back off and sat cylinder head on block and sat turbo on.

OH NO, its no good, There is no room and i mean NO room for a DP and the where the boost pipe needs to be is a strut brace.

Words cannot describe how gutted i am. Totally sick of it now. The ibiza certainly was not designed to have a BT conversion.

Not sure what to do really, still waiting for Impossible manifold to turn up, but i dont like the look of it at all.

I have sent JBS a email for a price of Equal length manifold and DP to match, i feel this is the route i will be taking now. Just dont know how to fund it.

Anyone wanna buy my body....lol

Oh no!
wheres the hair pulling out emoticon!
are we going to find your kidney on ebay?
To be honest mate it sounds like you are having to do it the right way in the end just as long as you can afford it, which does mean you will save money in the long run if you were going to end up getting the equal length anyway at a later date.
