umm just an idea, why doesn't someone write a thread about the different dump valves etc and then make it a sticky?
could be done with induction kits too?

might help out the people who are oblivious to the search button? :)

You will need a re circ dump valve mate as normal bov does not work well with the 1.8 unit and could put you car in limp mode. The best bailey dump valve is the dv-30 which is a full recirc valve.
If you are after a bit more noise the other option is a forge split r, which will will recirc enough to keep the engine happy and produce a slight whoosh. To enhance the noise further you could also add a cai.

Best bet is to do a search for more info, as its been covered alot.

Nowhere near, i.e. Norway.
Would like to mention the following I've observed over the yrs.
On old 20VTs/Cupras (APP or so) BOVs like the HKS SSQV works just fine, IF you're running no map or maybe a generic re-map.

Do very serious tuning and BOVs are a tricky thing.

get a diverter valve rather than a dump valve.
Ie it recirculates the air and doesnt dump it to atmosphere.
trust me. (it may appear to work ok but you dont want a atmospheric dump valve).

if you want more noise look at an induction kit.
welcome to the site, use the search facility and you will be fine.

you wont get abuse that often ;) (unless you ask about Dump valves)

the bailey recirculation DV is used my many on here, and will be ok, however i would personally recommend the forge 007p. lifetime warranty. they are about £90 or keep an eye on the for sale section.
forge have fantastic customer service.

Do very serious tunning and i'm sure you could run it without a MAF and also no need for recirc i'm sure!

prob wrong tho!

You could go the very expensive route, to stand-alone engine management systems, like MoTeC. Then you can skip the amount of air measured and measure pressure instead. VERY expensive!
