Model (toy) - bit of a tangent I'm afraid

My son loves my car - He's only 2! Clearly has taste already.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get a model Seat Leon from - Any size really, but 1:18 would be perfect....

i was in the same boat at christmas. well my partner was. my little boy also worshipd my car and she tried to find him a scale modelm of a leon.
she couldnt even.
so if anyone knows of any.... especially if it is an lcr.......let us know!

I think it seems you'll have to be lucky to find one these days. SCX (Scalextric) did do one. There is one listed on this page (Ref 60930) about half way down, and it seems like its in stock.

Do a Google search and you may find them elsewhere too.

I bought one a while back (I think from slotcity.co.uk, but they don't do it any more), and painted it up to match my car. Sad, I know, but hey.....

The only one I could find was this one, and that took a metric shedload of tracking down. I'm not sure if it's out just yet though (the official release date is actually today) and it's probably not suitable as anything other than a showpiece because I gather it's in HO scale, ie. 1ft = 3.5mm.

I've also been trying to track down radio controlled car bodies in that style with no luck and have discovered that even Spain's biggest model car manufacturer doesn't do a MK1 Leon...

I've been looking for ages for a Leon model, now I am selling my car I think I will pick up the SCX model and respray it as a reminder.

It looks like you have done a realy good job, was it easy to respray and how have you kept the 'L e o n' badge detail on the back, was that already on the SCX car?
