I had a MK1 Ibiza myself some years ago (was a trade in at the SEAT dealer I worked at). Lowering isnt easy as it has a transverse leaf spring at the rear, odd kinda arangement.

I'm sure the trolley will just spring back up :) good job I don't need it back though

give me a yell when it's going back in - you'll need a spare hand to drop the bolts in

That looks real sleeper, I see you managed to mount the FMIC quite high up so no need to drill the bumper for cooling.

Yup ideal as far as I can work out, should be air can flow through it quite well.

I have a new radiator to go in the front and the two 9" cooling fans that were fitted to the car when I bought it. One was used for the AC and mounted on the front but I have spun the blades over so it can be mounted on the back.

Only a mock up to trial fitments but should work well as the t/b is high up on the right and the standard pipe going back to the turbo stops high up on the left meaning a fairly short pipe run.

Going to invest in a new slam panel and fabricate some nice mountings, have also removed the bonnet catch/lock as I have removed the centre brace to allow maximum air into the front. I will be fitting some bonnet pins to secure the bonnet.

Well time has rolled on, project is still moving forward (kind of). As thes things do it has snowballed somewhat into something a little more in depth, At least now I have the MK2 in my very own little workshop.

So an update then..

After the trial fit I removed the pedal box and gave it a quick paint to tidy it up.

what coilovers is this riding on, any wheel arch rubbing running this low:shrug:

good work by the way , i can see you've put in a fair few hours labour in just cleaning up the engine bay, and a few quid on bits.
looking forward to seeing the finished article [B)]
