I got these http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pa...=seatibiza&manufacturer=weitec&sub_category=1 60/40 kit, the front is slightly lower than on the pics now its settled a bit. I like the way its sitting now, the ride is a bit stiff though but if your not bothered about being too comfortable then i can't fault them.

Had the same kit on my Mk2 Polo and it was rock solid!!!

Had to press against the dash with my fingers when changing the radio channel to stop my hand flying about!!!!!

I liked it though!

i know what you mean about trying to mess with the radio and missing lol!, they are stiff but thats what i was after so no complaints. got the standard ones in the garage to put back on if i develop back problems lol

Haha! Good old pre-facelifts ay! The standard front "splitter" is bloody 'orrible. It's just like 2 long strips off plastic which meet in the middle.. But don't connect!

Ive been to durham many a time mate. Thats where i picked up my alloys. Yeah the preface splitter is a bit rank but to my knowledge a post facelift wont go on without some serious cutting!

Haha, we have our own pre-facelift nagging group going on here

I've looked into it and the gti splitters don't fit but the old laguna front splitters fit with some force


Had a very surreal moment last night - Pulled into my street to see exactly the same car as mine (pre-facelift, blue) but a 5 doors parked just opposite my house! Double taked then realised I was IN my car

I wish i had that problem!
I genuinely don't think ive seen another 1 in my colour in the flesh... or metal so to speak! Seen a few on "the bay" but thats it!

Mate! Where'd you get the lower door card and speaker housing for the doors?! I was thinking about ripping the whole door cards off of a post-facelift ibiza from the scrappys but thought it wouldn't fit.

I've also just ordered some of those cup holders Are they any good?

Also, is the gti center console a direct replacement? My center console is buggered and very loose so I'd like to replace this.. The 1.4 post face ibiza I found in the scrappys had the center console like that where the cigarette lighter isn't inside the pull down ash-tray..

the door cars should fit mate. Just make sure if uv got a 3dr u fit 3dr doorcards! They're slightly bigger than 5dr. I just took the lower section out the scrappies. the same with the centre console, everything under the ashtray came from a 94 gti some guy was breakin on ebay.
as 4 the cig lighter....

There she is! I wired into the power from my cd player.

oh yeah... the cup holders r just 99p 1's that i sprayed black, nuthin special.
