i'm having new r32 alloys fitted next week and i think i'll upgrade to these from the kumhos that come with them, although i've had kumho ecsta supras on my car for over a year now and for 65 quid fitted at skidz they we're pretty good value, just fancy a wee change.

Had these on the back for 4 weeks or so now and they've not let go on me yet. Got mine from Camskill too, definitely a good price and way better than the F1 or the Toyos ... given i only got 3500 miles from the Toys I can't see the FK-452 being any worse and they're cheaper!

Got my FK452's this morning, having them fitted tomorrow arvo, they certainly look like a good tyre, they seem huge tho' soft compound aswell by the look of it, can't wait to see what their like in the wet..

got a bloody puncture on saturday... I could hear a stone (or so I thought) stuck in the tread, so I stopped to pull it out and it was a screw stuck in my drivers tyre! [:@]

I guessed it could be plugged so I went straight to the tyre place I got them from, knowing it normally costs about £10 to plug a tyre.

sure enough they plugged it for me, but bob said no charge for me! :D

so not all bad! :)

How do you get on with fitting as i have been told most tyre places wont fit tyre not supplied by them.

Tyres 205/55x 16 cost me £50.80 each from mytyres, delivered.

Getting a local mobile guy to do it, costing £11.00 per wheel, so all in it's cost me £123.60 for 2 tyres, not too bad me thinks, as long as they live up to the hype, i'm a happy man :D:D

going to need a couple on the front in a few months, so i'll see if he can do a comparable price.

I'd had the 452's on the back for a couple of days now seem very good so far, back end feels a lot more plated than it did before.

I'm so impressed I've just ordered a couple for the front, to replace the rapidly shrinking Couriers, which were on the car when I got it and which are dreadful in the wet. :drive1: and which seem to have more in common with a non stick pan than anything else..

So a result all round i feel....... :D

If anyone in the Glasgow area are looking for these I got 4 fitted at Auto Image in Great Western rd for £310. I know there are better prices posted but thats fitted so saves any hassle getting tyres delivered and trying to get a fitter.

Auto image - 0141 333 0575

He's usually the best price I can find for tyres and have used him for many years.
