Todays Autocar saw a wee bit re the long term Leon Cupra

"Took an early spin in Mr Muir's SEAT LEON CUPRA the other night and was pleasantly surprised. The TFSI engine sounds gruffer in here than it does in the sweet GOLF GTI, but there's no denying its shove. And apart from the overly dark interior, it was hard to fault the LEON'S driving position (and its excellent seats). I wouldn't say I'm over the bread-van styling just yet, but it was more impressive than I'd expected it to be. JOHN McILROY"

dave,
lets hear your short term owners review.

chris

Well the smile still hasn't gone :D Love the styling and so does everyone else that sees it, OK I find the interior a little on the dark plastic side but I can't fault the build quality. The brakes are very Audi, either on or not ;)

The power oh the power it is definately there although I am taking it easy at the moment until there are a few more miles on the clock and Jersey dumps the 40 mph speed limit

I have found a very annoying knocking noise and discovered that when there is no one sat in the passenger seat the seat belt knocks against the plastic b pillar trim, now move the seat forward and hook the belt over the side bolster [B)]

Bluetooth, can't fault it, great even works with my Nokia N95 which my Mercedes-Benz can't even locate! The ipod sounds good although I think the speakers may end up being replaced.

And the best part, the Candy White paint love it, no marks just perfect [B)]

Now this is the best part, the colour is just lurvely lol. Love it from every angle, really does do the Cupra justice IMO and so glad Seat released it. Although can attract some undesirable attention too.

Spooky, I had just been reading the same thread.

If you look at the poll for order's though it is much smaller than the poll for colour's, So I think some cheeky monkey's have been voting for colour's but not actually ordered one.

There was one other who had ordered Candy White when it was first released, but then didn't want to wait for 3-4 month's.
