Official Ibiza 1/4 Mile Thread

Dont think this has been done yet, so post up your times and if possible slips to back up your times.

I'll keep this first post updated with the leaderboard.

Thanks.

Acidstrato - Whats going on? ;)

well i dont have a k03s for a start:cartman:

that time was also from inters 2006 35degree heat and no fmic. and if that excuse isnt enough, i also had a brand new clutch fitted the same week! hehe

also i'm a heavyweight...16stones of muscle and lard

also, i'm crap at launching lol

but the 15.7 at pod is right...100% bog standard and had owned the car a few weeks.

think i've got better though and the car is alot stronger than back then
the car is easily capable of 14.5, maybe earlier

you're smoking crack if you think that its "easily" capable of a 14.5, when I did my best run in my old red ibiza, I had the following....

K03, SMIC, Jabba remap, dynatwist, a bottle full of Millers CVL, no back seats and no spare or jack.

Ok so i was only running a SMIC but it wasn't particularly hot, but that still many runs and stupidly long burnouts to get the tyres nice and warm....

Looking at many other 1/4 mile times anything less than around 14.6 (and i'm talking about a Santa Pod 14.6, not one at Crail/York or your mate dave timing you with his Casio databank watch) is pretty good

lol. Running silly boost and killing the turbo in the process. Cant see that little old k03 running for very long.

Nice times tho alex. :D

soz you've driven my car then....

revo, forge fmic, full milltek, forge tip, custom cai...

my last visit to pod was with current spec but i had a severe missfire and i still managed to match the 15.1 i achieved with the lesser spec at inters.

no doubt what so ever it can achieve mid 14s and fairly confident it could achieve a very early 14s run on a good day

I think mid 14's is easily acheivable with those mods.

I made 14.7 on a hot day with smic and only a map, cat back, induction kit & dv. Thats on the standard k03 as well @ pod.

With a FMIC, TIP & downpipe I would expect to lower that time some more
