Phoned up Blueflame yesterday. 200 quid plus postage for a 3" downpipe without cat. Quality.

Get that and use your downpipe/cat to be cut up and flanged as a bolt in cat for legal purposes.

Nah i dont think so tom, i'm still not 100% sure its the right colour.

I took the paint code up and he disapeared and came back with the swatches showing 5 VAG colours with the same code, all were blue but had different tones. 1 lighter one, one darker one and 3 middle ones which pretty much looked the same. So i went with the middles ones.

Fingers crossed its ok.

Oh **** then, I'm colour blind, so small differences in colour are nothing to me, so i may end up with the wrong colour.

Although, colour blindness does have its advantages, if i ever felt like a change of job, colour blind snipers, are better at seeing people in camoflage.

Quick look this morning, and its coming from behind the oil filter housing/cooler. Don't know whats causing teh rattle though, oil pressure is good @ 2.2bar idle.

Will have a look properly when I can be bothered.

That doesnt sound good. Is it leaking from that area of you just down on oil?

Not something else rattling and your turbo seals casuing oil usage?
