Not something else rattling and your turbo seals casuing oil usage?

Nah, I spotted it dripping on tuesday night... but I noticed it this week because of the rainbow streams it leaves in teh rain.

Its used 1/2 a dipstick since my last oil change, 3 months ago!

Hi guys, Just a quick update on my slipping clutch. I've booked the car in to Badger5 on 5th July. Just in time for RS Owners day at Combe. Spoke to Bill Brockbank who suggested a Spec stage 3 clutch to cope with the 250bhp I'm presently running, and also to handle the 300bhp I'm planning for later this year. Should be around 800 quid.....all in.

Is anyone going to Combe on 7th July? Also, do you guys meet up at all? If so can someone let me know? You can always get me on [email protected] or [email protected]

Looks like I might have a serious problem...

Initially thought the leak was coming from the oil pressure sender in the top of the cooler housing. Stripped the inlet off the engine and cleaned everthing up, ptfe'd the threads on the sender.

Left it running on the drive for 10 mins, checked again and theres oil seeping from the block, I cant see it very well but I think the block may have a crack as the oil is just coming from no where.

If the block is scrap the car is too, ive never owned such an unreliable worthless peice of **** in my life. Im truly sick of spending a fortune just to keep the **** on the road.

Dear god. Not sounding good then.

Wishmeister, i would go elsewhere. I cant see how its gonna cost 800 quid for all that.

A spec stage 3 clutch and lightweight flywheel is 550 from TTS Roadsprt, see their section. Labour aint gonna be 250 quid. I'm doing it another way, spec stage 3 clutch kit for 260, second hand G60 flywheel which will be skimmed and lightened. All done for more like 350.

Gone quiet on here hasnt it.

Seen my diff and box tonight. Box is pretty shagged so i've given it to martin whos doin some work for me. He also showed me a flywheel hes done which is the same as mine and its awesome. Looks like brand new fair play.

Just bought some ARB's as well. **** the group buy. pmsl.

DP fitted today, had some issue's, but all resolvable, replaced a dodgy lambda, and the car now flys, like never before.

Car is now running the way it always should have.
