Ready and panting for stage 2.

Just curious on people thoughts on choice of full system exhaust.
I'm thinking a resonated Milltek and sticking with oval shape tailpipe.
Pros? Cons? Experience?

i'd say deffo oval banana man, looks better than anything i've seen miltek are good but you pay for them, i just bought BF for £477 for money which is good shame about their customer care mind

Thanks Guys.

Yeah I heard some various arguments back and forth for Blue Flame.
I'm prepared to spend a few ££ for the right reliable product.

What's my current downpipe then on my LCR... 2.5"??

I know Revo suggest 3" DP for stage 2. Milltek not do one?
Will have to do some research. But I do appreciate and tips.

Presumably the oval tail pipe will be a bit bigger than my current one.
Any issues there? clash with bumper etc?

After having a milltek on my old ibiza, and after then being out in smooths stage 2 apr LCR with his blue flame on :-o boy does that sound mint, and after putting his FMIC on the other weekend its made it even more raw :D makes J@MES's sound like a little pussycat ;)

Yep, i was even suprised at how much different it made the exhaust tone, we fitted the pro alloy FMIC to it, which was a piece of piss to fit aswell

IIRC, there was a GB on them for about £550 but i may be wrong on the price, its also much much bigger than the forge one aswell, do a searchy and you'll find the thread along with pictures of it matey ;)

cheers.... £550 + installation....interesting...i thought the LCR has 2 FMIC's?

Fit it yourself matey, honestly its a piece of piss, took us 3 amatures about 3hrs to do, and it also gives you the confidence that its all done properly if you know that all your pipes are done up tight by yourself.
Before you put the bumper back on though, take it for a quick blast to make sure there are no leaks.... you may get a few strange looks from other drivers having no bumper on but it all ok ;)

I have a Bluefame D/P and 100 cell CAT with a Magnex Cat back (6x4 oval) and it looks and sounds great. It's not overpowering on long drives unless you hit the loud pedal. The Pro Alloy was £594 and is pretty easy to fit, me and a mate did mine in 2 hours a couple of weeks ago.
