Ibiza 130 tdi- Thanks for your advice, ive send an email to Ac Motorsport services, not that i dont believe you but i wanted to see what they say. I'm not to sure about gettin 20mm because ive got 17s and coilovers so im trying to avoid scrubbing. Do yours catch at all?
Does anybody know these measurements so i dont have to mess about taking my wheel off?
Hi all,
I'm looking to get some spacers and after reading this thread i'm completly confused now, so is it better to get the ones with longer bolts or the one that bolts to your hub and your alloy?? and what is a spigot? sorry for being such a newb haha!!
thanks for a usefull post, am I right in assuming that with 20mm the tyre is still within the bodywork, on standard wheels, did the insureance bump up your premium or don't they bother?Mine dont catch but I have 16's on and the standard 2 foot wheel arch clearance.
dont buy anything other than the hubcentric spacers which have longer bolts to bolt on as the other type of method is dangerous also floating spacers are a no go!
Sound advice, only issue is that my Bolts are 'custom', styled/co-ordinated to match the new Alloys that I have fitted (they were fitted when I had my new wheels put on).
Therefore standard extended Bolts might not look right ?
