just a couple of pics not linked properly due to the large size.

Anyway the mk4 lads will know Iv been waiting for this done and I think it looks smart sounds class not too chavy, but just right and the tints I was a bit undecided on but think they look good now. plus think of the naked ladies

nope aint found any black lights and nah the fronts arnt but they get in the way when driving etc not really my thing, might get em done though in the future.

o and tints where £100 mate

Front tints dont get in the way of driving, stops sunlight dazzling you.

I have light on the front, limo on the rear and really sets the car off well

would look better with the fronts done a bit more looks a bit vanish inmo but the exhaust looks lovely and the rear three windows look ace nice work

Trouble is, tinting the front windows is illegal so you're asking for trouble if you tint them. Even a light tint on them puts them over the legal limit

standard glass already has bout 10-15% already!

yeh I know its illegal, so far ive got away with it, its more of a smoke rather than tint, cos went for a pretty light one. so far been ok wit it, no questions been asked, touch wood

I have to admit, I'm tempted to do the same, and just have a light tint all round. But it's the thought of having to rip off all that money worth of tints if I do get caught.

What with a tiny number plate and tints, the Police would have a field day with me and my car

lol, mayb. I had a mk2 golf before, used to rag it a fair bit. tinted the rear windows fully (i know its legal), decked it, gti'd it etc and never once got pulled over for a general check, or a fault etc.

Due to that, thats why I tinted my front windows, because I thought well if they arent gunnu pull me over in an old (although looked good) car, which was clearly being ragged, then driving fairly normally, with a black beeza, bit of tint (esp with alot of manufactures adding abit of tint to the fronts now) shouldnt be such a problem.

i've got front tints and all, come with the car when i bought it second hand. Havent had a problem for a year. but i read in the papers they are going to start cracking down. It's only likely to be a £40 fine and you gotta peal them off on the spot(if vinyl)
...plus if the police roll by, jus roll down your windows

When i got my window tinted on my Corsa they said they were craking down on front window tints then, that was in 2004!! hav'nt been stoped once and on my Ibiza there even darker!! hardly see any police around my area!! haha

you need to get the fronts tinted mate, because it will look like a van other wise and IMO looks silly. IMO either have full tints or dont have any.. But if your happy thats all that matters as your the 1 driving it.
