boosting - at 0 psi

right just been out and suddenly i loose all boost, put my foot down and the boost gauge goes to 0psi and the car doesnt accelerate, same in every gear? Now when its idling its erratic. the TCS light has also come up on the dash - permanently. Just done a quick vag com and it came up as 16487 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit - High Input? now i didnt think a kanackered MAF would make the TCS light come up and boost at 0psi?

yes.. its one of the symptoms, the TCS light on permanently

just unplugged the MAF, TCS light still on but took it up the road and it goes alot better, didnt foot it, but it went better and didnt just stop when the gauge it 0psi, definately sound like the MAF?

Sounds like it to me, backed up by the fault code.

I think seat still do exchange with the maf's means it only about £70 and you give them the old busted one

you will need to buy a new ibiza maf sensor and put it in your existing maf housing.... yours is 3" remember ......
