was your car a factory order or 'off the shelf?' just wondering if the dealer ordered the ipod connection, or another customer that cancelled their order.

Well I went to the dealer and picked an FR with the things that I wanted on it, (though didnt request the Ipod), and he said there was one at another dealer in south england, I had the car the next week.. :D

My mistake, i got mine done at the dealers and is in the glovebox, so do you have a storage box on your passenger seat and the ipod connection on your driver seat?

i only have the passenger seat box.

I have just an empty storage box below the passenger seat, and the ipod storage box below the drivers yes.

What cost is the option by the way? I never use it by the way, so even with hindsight I wouldn't have got it (thats if i had to pay for it)..

Though strange place to put the ipod connection - why couldn't they find somewhere on the dash to connect it, or around the handbrake console..

I assume it keeps it out of the way of prying eyes if you wanted to leave it in the car.
