Today I had my Leon TFSI updated with the new official engine update... and boy, if it really "only" had 185hp before, then it surely has 200hp now! Wow it´s faster than ever before... :D

I don´t know exactly what has been done! - But it pulls harder, I can now hear the "Standard BOV" when I lift on the gas from full throttle (not loud... but it was hard to hear anything before) and the engine "tone" is a bit more aggressive! - All in all very nice! :D

I was told by BigBoysToys that the only difference between a TFSI Sport and an FR, is that the back box on the exhaust is slightly restricted on the Sport to reduce the power.

Sounds strange that the exhaust should make 15hp

Sounds strange! I think everyone else has agreed that it is the engine mangement program that is a little bit different!??

BTW: What exactly is "The back box"??? (I´m just a stupid Dane with little knowledege of english car expressions...)

I have driven a FR, and after the update of my engine, I would say it is impossible to tell a difference between the engines!

It´seems, amongst other small tnings, that the turbo now boosts a bit more... and since I now can here the "standard BOV" when I lift, I think it could be because of added preasure!?

Our crazy European cousins! I love Denmark, it's a great place, but could do with a few more hills! A back box is the rear part of the exhaust system, just before it exits the car. If you get on your hands and knees at the back of the car you will be able to see the back box just behind the rear exhaust pipe.
