In the new FR's the centre console around the radio is that silvery colour like the surround for the dials, and air vents. On the pre-facelift FR's the plastic around the radio is black. Following?

Does anybody have an idea if it can be changed on my pre-facelift FR to the new style silver one and if so know how much it costs?

This is on my facelift FR

do you mean this bit? Im sure its the same as the pre-facelift Fr's, coz i tested one of those before I bought my facelift, and they look the same to me, apart from the colour.

yeh that is yet another thing that are on the imports by the look of it and if you noticed its instead of the silver bit that is in mine and the one above.

Like people said spraying sounds like the easiest option but dunno how you'd match the colour up if you got it wrong itd' look rubbish

The plot thickens! Its the piece of plastic directly around the radio, storage hole, and climate controls but on yours it appears to be black. I've been in two and it matches the silver dash.

I want to spray that silver bit black!! Or the same colour as the rest of the dash, i hate that glare it creates on a sunny on the windscreen. Its noticable, well for me is it anyway. Would be better in a much darker colour.
