cupra wont start after strip down

Bare with me as I bought a project car that was half complete, after installing the parts as I thought correct I cant get it to fire
Cant hear the fuel pump kick in like m other car, not sure if this is normal
have some conectors that are not connected and extra ones as the radiator isnt one yet

Any suggestions:whistle:

Yep, i still recon you'd get an answer if you asked in the Mk1 forum ... at least people in there will have the car you have questions about! :doh:

If you have tried to start it with too many faults stored in the ecu it wont unless you put the faults right reset and then re start, I learnt the hard way...pulled the fuel injector plugs off after fitting a new oil pump...to do a couple of cranks without it firing to get the oil circulating....once I was happy with that I tried to start it and it wasn't having any of it...frantically trying to get hold of a reset tool / vag com so I could get to work at the eleventh hour!
