120k - don't be special!

It's 5 years or 60K - I assume ur car is 5 or older so I'd get it done, not worth waiting for it to snap!

hi mate, just had mine changed at 51,000, the guy showed me the condition of the belt after and it was ok but its whether u want to take the risk leaving it too long is down to you, not worth it if it goes .. but also it depends how the car has been driven in its life so far, plus the modifications it has ..

The recommend checking it at 60k and changing it at 120k, but for me there is no point taking risks so get it done at 60k ;) Chage the water punp as well while your there for the one with metal blades.

I got mine done at 60k with the metal water pump at the same time, id say anything from 50-60k would be the best time, you can always get it looked at to see what condition its in and get the garage to give you a safe idea of when to have it done by.
