I took the two TT comps that weren't on the car, and tried to give them a new polish. They don't look as good as they did when I got them polished by the pros but they look pretty shiney :)

OK so she still has no brakes, just an LCR disc on each side, but she's now sitting on 4 wheels again :funk:

OK so today I polished up the wheels on the back, connected the new battery up, and let her run for about 30mins. Idles nice and smooth and apart from a bit of black sooty smoke after starting up runs perfectly :)

Also got the cleaning stuff out and gave her a good wash... Looks damn good now :D

I thought it looked good before, Pete - but the extra shiney wheels look even better extra SUPER shiney! Especially with the bit of tyre gloss.

lol the repeaters were supposed to be replaced with clear ones... Only they're Mk4 golf ones not Mk3 so wont fit :(

The mirrors will be fine once they're both stubby, oh and the Mk3 front end goes on to match...

i think i did this with my cordie pete.i kinda modified the bulb holder to make it fit the casing, pretty sure the repeater fits the same though.just that VW used smaller bulb on the later models.

No interior isn't in. The boxster seats are just shoved in the car to store them. I'm going to get the car MOT'd etc then start taking a grinder to the car and weld some seat mounts in... The whole interior is going to be rebuilt once I've got the car mecanically sorted. :)

I assume Audio install first?

Or is the car wired for that already??

Well the interior is being built around the install. Amps ( 4 or 6 not decided yet ) mounted in the rear 3/4 then loads of subs fitted along with the 2 HUGE batteries in the back. I've not wired the car up yet, but I'll do that after getting the steel framework welded up for the ampracks etc. I'm gonna bolt the whole amp rack framework to the rear seatbelt mountings etc so it's all properly solid :D

very true about the repeaters.... ;)

does look good now it's lowered and on the TT Comps :D

bet you're itching to get driving it again.....

it's going to have some damn good stopping power with the LCR Brembo's on it... I know how good my Mk3 Ibiza was with the Brembo's, and they were only 305mm !!! ;)

Yeah it looks exaclty as I hoped it would. Rears need spacing out a bit but the fronts are perfect. Will have to remove the arch liners and have the arches rolled I think though. I'm hoping the brakes will do the job, with the LCR stuff up front and Mk4 rears it'll hopefully stop pretty quick [B)]

And yes I am itching to go for a spin in her.

Ordered the brake hoses front and rear, so just need some brembo brackets now :)

looks excellent on the TT comps mate, love those rims when they are polished.

One thing though, were you changing to VR6 hubs so you could get LCR brakes on or so you could get the wheels on, because you can get adaptors.

Ive got porsche ones 4x100 (seat) > 5x130 (porsche)

just wondering, and im not calling you daft, im just curious the reasons you changed the hubs
