We were talking about the one in the link karlosR posted. That one is a custom exhaust, as it clearly states in the auction. It was made for the seller by Blueflame to his requirements. Blueflame have been doing custom exhausts since day one, and this is one of them.

Pitty they didnt make mine stop rattling, infact they didnt give a stuff !!! [:@]

metallic vibration....no way on this earth anybody put stones in it.
Only does it a certain RPM, stones would rattle all the time, anyway it isnt that sort of noise.

Do you reckon milltek would fit ? are the bores a different size ?

im not sure to be honest.. i know the blueflame is 2.75" and im fairly sure the milltek is too. im really pleased with the tone of my exhaust so i hope i can keep it,but if it rattles, it has to go. it is quiet when you havent got your foot planted..

Milltek is 2.76, so should fit.
Sounds fine when planted mate, and does sound good just driving around, but when u pull off or sit at lights, it rattles and stresses me right out.

so your recommendation to jetset would be to wait and buy a milltek...

maybe its one of those things and others will never have a problem with their blueflames (fingers crossed) but i must say the only thing i could mention about their quality is the welds.... theyre not the best..

I would save for a Milltek personally, but there probably loads of people that have blueflames without any probs.........Its wasnt so much the exhaust that irritated me, faults do occur in everything, but it was their attitude which I didnt like when I tried to report it faulty...........:wtf: lol

 i know what you mean.. so far they have been very nice but that was when i was buying something from them. i hope they continue with the good service when there are problems.. maybe they will take note of bad press like yours and do something about it.

The sign of a good company isn't how well the treat you when placing an order... but how well they treat you when you have a problem. Let's hope, for Blueflames sake if nothing else, this isn't a common problem.

If they don't, it's nothing a good exhaust fabricator can't fix.

Spoke to JKM and they can get just the back box, but he said they might have to modify the fitting slightly as it depends on shape, size etc of the milltek compared to the blueflame, however they going to take a look at it first to see if it can be repaired in anyway as I dont really want to have to buy a new backbox atall as mine is only a year old !!
