Can anyone confirm that the blueflame back box for the LCR will fit on the standard exhaust?

I have tried searching but have struggled to find anything and it's late - long day at BTCC

i believe the blueflame is 2.75" from the cat back but im not sure what the OEM exhaust was. your biggest problem would be mating the two together. the OEM is flattened as it goes over the rear axle so it doesnt give you much to play with, as far as cutting and fitting goes.

Blueflame sell the cat-back section only, as well as the full system, so I'd be very surprised if it couldn't be fitted to the standard exhaust as that would render one of their products useless.

Not the one with a huge dent in it? Oh dear... a damaged exhaust that's been reversed into a kerb or dropped doesn't sound like a good buy to be honest.

Bear in mind that the exhaust in that link isn't a normal 'off the shelf' Blueflame. It's a custom one that's been done to the sellers own requirements. From the description it sounds a bit chavvy, but each to their own.

rob it is an 'off the shelf' exhaust.. so they all sound like that and he was asking about a backbox not a cat back. so you would have to mate the blueflame to the original exhaust somehow.. my original exhaust was one piece from the cat back and it was an absolute b**ch to cut off.

apologies rob i thought you were talking about my exhaust

We were talking about the one in the link karlosR posted. That one is a custom exhaust, as it clearly states in the auction. It was made for the seller by Blueflame to his requirements. Blueflame have been doing custom exhausts since day one, and this is one of them.
