ive got one just need to make sure somehow it is actually the folding type

also how the hell do i get the back cover off?

I guess, since you have a 2002 Leon, you have the square Golf shape mirrors and not the teardrops? The part numbers will obviously be different, so it's worth being specific.

sorry yep I bought a passenger side one to retrofit.

its the squaare ones.

managed to get the back off from uasing the guide http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=120899&highlight=mirror

also manged to test it from a 9v battery connected to the motor wires


just need to get all the other parts now to complete it

check the connectoer on the other half of the loom and looks like it doesnt have connections for all the 9 wires the door mirror has.

looks like i will have to change the door loom
