As Jay says, 500-600 is the starting point for a decent quality set with the adjustment you might need. There are cheaper ones around, but you get what you pay for.

Have you looked at the Suspension sticky thread at the top of the forum yet?
And have you searched or coilovers in this forum yet? There has been a lot of good advice and info posted in the past, including recommendations and reviews :)

Spend some time searching for various phrases based around coilover, it's worth it :)

I am running on FK HighSport II. I am running them at -5cm

I cant complain.

They have behaved exceptionaly well, and they are not really overpriced.

Dont really think youd like pics of my car here on your post.

But if you approve i can post some pics of it in standard form with the kit at -5cm here

As RobM says you get what you pay for. I changed from FK Highsports to Koni coilovers on my Cupra TDI and the difference is substantial. The damping control with the Koni's is far superior while the ride quality is pretty similar. In fact I had a Cupra R front splitter gathering dust in the garage which I'd never bothered fitting with the Highsports because I knew it wouldn't last 10 minutes but its been fine with the Koni's....car is lowered 35/40mm approx.

if you want to lower that far - make sure you budget for new droplinks / front arb, as anything more than 35mm will start to cause driveshaft/arb rubbing/knocking.
