You see a really nice mk2 ibiza cupra 16v... being driven by an old man doing 22 in a 30 and being all over the road :(

I see it a few cars ahead and thought "oooh! A fellow ibiza driver!" then when I got behind him he was terrible.

Why's it seem all the mk2 ibiza drivers seem to be 60 year olds?!

I saw an immaculate Ibiza 2.0 16v Cupra in Lazuli Blue earlier, absolutely love them in that colour, and typically being driven by an old lady with her on-deaths-door husband in passenger seat... also to make it owrse they runied it by fitting a tow-bar!!!
Also theres a mint Copper Ibiza same as mine owned by a retired couple a few doors away from my grandparents house... Owned from new with only 45k miles!!!

what's wrong with driving like and old person?

I drive like one but with my windows down and my system up ;)

Driving quick is for track and the 1/4 mile. Well quick as I can in my 1.4 lol

Haha, not saying we do double the speed limit absolutely everywhere! But I bet you can admit to "slipping" on a certain pedal now and then ;)

I do also love to just keep it cool and slow with the windows down and the music up! Especially in a chav-ridden area :D

Still, I rather see some old man driving an Ibiza round my area, rather then some scumbag chav driving one. Because at least I know that the local police wont be like: "Look, an Ibiza, I think thats the one that was flying through town the other day, lets pull him over and give him a hard time".

Put simply, old people wont make an Ibiza look bad in Police's eyes. Whereas chav's would. Hard to explain so Hope you understand what I mean :D

when i had my red 1.4 i used to see a guy at least 50 driving a cupra sport, and he used to always take his time and it was always lovely and clean.

now i have my cupra - i never see him!

imagine how we'd feel if we all drove rovers :p

That's a good point! I like that about driving the Ibiza. Police never look twice at me. Whereas if I was driving something like a saxo, corsa or a 106 they would :)

I guess when the lovely old people keel over, they can sell their lovely condition, low milage, un-thrashed cupras onto us! :D

By keel over, I of course mean become unable to drive a car anymore..
