Inlet sorted thanks to Forge!

Basically straight out of the Turbo, under the linkage (no 90 degree kinks) into the LCR/S3 TIP, up to the MAF (but a bit further forward than normal because it's moved 140mm towards the wing. 90 degree silicon bend into the air filter which will sit pretty much where the battery is.

Some work still to be done to connect turbo outlet to pipework, as the forge pipe we have is ace, but we need to make it longer! so that's WIP - it's that or the intercooler pipe doesn't sit where it once did

Injectors are at the PO awaiting some VAT & Import duty to be paid... but it's getting there (not bad given the total lack of time I've had recently)

Excellent - so you are using the full size inlet on the turbo? You're going to shift the battery into the boot?

Pictures, pictures!

you could always modify a carbonio or another CAI pipe, this will save the battery having to go in the boot.

yeah, I didn't want to chop the bottom off the forge inlet pipe - there's no need (as then I'd still need to locate some of the pipes that connect there)

Hadn't thought about the carbonio idea, I'm not sure that would work, because it's further over, but I'll certainly try to relocate the filter initially (I had my stupid blinkered hat on I think!!

I reckon that I could move my RamAir down where the horn lives, I'm sure there's nearly room. I could then run pipework up to the MAF where my exisiting CAI runs.... There should be easily be room for a Carbonio....

On, running well up to temperature

Almost everything is connected - we just need to sort the crank case breather, plug some holes on the TIP & extend one of the pipes for the N75

Removed the secondary air pump too.

We'd have run it up & down the road if I'd bought a tool to put the driveshaft nuts back in!

once there's a gap etc

still some tidying jobs to be done, but I'm certainly glad to be on the home straight with it

what number would you guess?

It won't be run at maximum 1.5bar anyway (saving internals, and clutch)

a nice smooth 320/320 will be ace.

Pro Detailer
With a full 3" intake and 1.5 BAR, the GTRS elim made 330bhp and 300lbft on a couple of Audi S3's, so around 300lbft is about right. Running at 1.3 BAR on a smaller intake it made 305bhp on a Leon, don't know the torque though, sorry.

Just thought I'd share that info. :)
