You should have an adapter for the Sony that will go between the wires from your car (the ones in your photo) into the back of the Sony. On THAT wiring loom there will be a red wire and yellow, with bullet connectors half way through. Just swap these round.

Have you got the wiring loom thats inbetween the car and head unit? You must do as youve got the head unit working in the forst pic

That looks like the one you should have. I'd go for it (If it fits your radio).

The one you use at the moment, is it modified at all?

I just happen to have a Sony Headunit on my desk, as well as a digital camera, so I took some pics that might help you out!

This is my Sony Headunit, with the wiring loom attatched:

This is the wiring loom that went inbetween the Seat Block connectors and the Sony head unit:

All I did was replace the yellow and red wires like so:

And then plugged the block connectors into the corresponding Seat ones.

I hope this helps?

Btw, if your connecting an amplifier, use the blue one with white stripes (you can see it from my pics) as the remote wire.

Should help

All you need to do is swap 4 + 7 over. But you also need to make sure that 3 is disconnected. Make sure pin 1 is also disconnected if this is not compatible with your head unit.

I wouldn't butcher about with the factory connectors, it is possible to take the crimps out of them and reposition them but it involves the use of long pointy tweezers!

The ebay link doesn't look suitable for your application at all. What you need is a PC2-69-4 http://thebassbin.co.uk/shop/product/products_id/3082.html which will also be available from halfords...

You might also need a PC5-52 if your radio reception sucks. http://www.autoleads.co.uk/database/productImages/PC5-52.jpg

This is required to power the antenna amplifier which is located in the base of the antenna.
