Altea Accessories are on Seats website although quite expensive, I was quoted £70 for the sill plates. I'm currently looking around for an aftermarket version to do the same job and on ebay !

I also wouldn't mind finding a place that does cheaper Seat accessories !
Theres not much about at the moment.

Have the mud flaps - easy to fit (don't even need to take the wheels off) and look fine as far as I'm concerned and do keep a lot of muck off the bodywork.

Your new ride looks good ;) Bet you're as anxious as i am about mine counting the hours till you can pick the car up. Picking my Altea up this Sat.

I too have been looking through the Seat accessories brochure. Made some enquiries about the chrome tail pipe trims and the centre arm rest. The Seat dealership where i'm getting the car from wants £85 for exhaust trims and £95 for the centre arm rest :-o Seems well steep to me

Bought a 54 plate 2.0 tdi sport DSG in emocion red with 20k on the clock.

Might give the dealer another ring and see if he can do a discount. Not holding out much hope though as i tried to squeeze as much out of the deal as it was. But if you dont ask you dont get.

Was your car ok following the wash ? Have noticed that when i've previously bought cars that you tend to find any little marks or niggles after giving it a good clean as you're inspecting the car a lot closer than when you buy it.

Glad your happy with the purchase:)

Just a little note about the tail pipe trim. My dealer told me that you have to drop the exaust and cut a few ins off it in order to fit the chrome trim. Otherwise the chrome trim will stick out too far and look silly. just somthing to bear in mind when buying this accessory as it it put me off buying one.

It is a bit of a job to do, I didn't do, my brother looked and he's into this stuff and said no way. You need an exhaust pipe cutter that clips around the pipe, you ratch it and it cuts the pipe. Best to swing it on the Seat dealer for free when they sell you the bit else they will charge you again. It needs to be on the ramps with the pipe cutter. Saying that someone on here did it with a hacksaw but you're going to be very nibble if you do that and into pain.
