seen it myself, ive got a motorbike too and was after a solo hump for the second seat, got outbid a couple of times and thought id go to the dealer bought one for £40 yet i got out bid on ebay luckily at £45 it eventually sold for £65. couldnt believe my ears when i spoke to the guy from the dealers how lucky was i, so now i price everything up first, ebay can be a good place for a bargain but also you can get ripped off.

I agree Wardy, its better to check with the delaers first. What I really cant understand is that the seller has even put the price on the advert, and the even crazier thing is that people are waiting to the end of the auction to purchase it, when they could have dialled many companies and had it delivered days ago!

i won a seat sport gearknob a week last friday from a bloke on ebay. i won it for £36 + £3 but the bloke said in the description that he paid £100 for it. i emailed him asking how much it would cost to end the auction and he said £50. i then decided to bid on it and thats how i won it for £36. i sent cash in the post first class last saturday so he should have got it on monday, tuesday at the latest. i've emailed him again asking if he received the cash as it has been over a week since the auction ended and i haven't had a reply. i've got a funny feeling i won't see the item as i've sent cash but as he didn't have a paypal account and i don't know where my chequeook is i didn't have a lot of choice. i do have his address and i'm keeping an eye on his ebay account to see if it gets re-listed. :(

Was that the black Seat Sport Momo style one? I was going to bid on that, but I decided against it at the last minute. Let us know how it turns out Karlos buddy.

Postal Orders mate. Keep the reference numbers and you'll be able to find out if they've been cashed. Proof positive that the seller received them and has the funds.

17 ish quid from the dealers

people paying 20-40 quid for them and risking them getting trashed in postage

Result! Glad you got the shiny new knob you were after! :D

You have to be patient sometimes, not all sellers are in a rush to post their stuff out.

its a funny shape and compared to the original LCR knob it does feel strange to use, but not in a bad way though. once i've adjusted my forge short shifter for an even shorter throw between gears it should bre very nice.
