They're in Watling street, Dartford http://www.hispecmotorsport.co.uk/

Thats per disc so you'd be looking at £50+vat

I would strongly advise against you taking your existing discs off, as you car will be off the road until they get round to it, which could be any given amount of time unless you can come to arrangement where they do it while you wait(unlikely)

cheers for the advice stu, will have a look into it and see what comes up. i no where abouts hi-spec is in dartford, used to go out with some minger who lived pretty much opposite it! didnt even realise it was there until then!!

Or you could try ECP as they do ATE POWER DISCS with a fancy groove put into them already.

i take it these are replacement 312mm discs?? how much are they and have you got a link for them? PM me the info so i dont keep hijacking stu's thread

G'box is off and I've done a 'propa job' of it

Flywheels is scrap & so is crank - well mullered

So barring putting in another stock bottom end in for the same thing to happen again, I'm having it rebuilt better than before.

you have the choice of fitting a stock abf bottom end again, and if you built it with arp rod bolts and a lightened flywheel with arp bolts it would be ok for 7.8K - this is your cheapest option for getting it back on the road - probably £500-600 if you do it yourself and you can always sell all the bits that are ok from your existing bottom end and recoup some of this (pistons/rods/block/sump etc etc will all be salvegable)

of course the options and cost extend upwards from here

Thats the damage, well and truely skagged up.

Another crank & flywheel have been sourced, said flywheel has had 11 lbs removed, new heavy duty Sachs clutch especially run down to me by TripleD (thanks ever so much Dan:) ) Crank, flywheel & clutch assembly is going off for balancing.

Awaiting new pistons & rods and some hotter cams thrown in.

No worries stu matey, we did shop after you left, till about half 5 ish, and in all that time we eneded up buying some massage oil/soap type stuff  all them shops and we got something from a shop they have in coventry. Ah well, was a nice run down, and back again. Even seen a Porsche Carrera GT on the way down, along with a few lambos and ferraris.

Hopefully you wont have any problems with the clutch matey, but if you do just call me on me mobile.
