hi Guys,

I have a question that I think may have been posted before but I don't think it is in the MK2 section.

Does the MK2 Leon have an auto close feature for the electric windows. A few mates have various cars that close the windows when locking the car with the remote key fob. I was hoping that the Leon (FR in particular) had this feature.

If it doesn't do it from the factory is it possible to program using VAGCOM or something.

Sorry if this has already been posted.

If you turn the key in the door it will. Not been able to do it via the key fob

thanks for the reply Xe.

I have to do that with my Passat. I don't know why they don't enable the feature on all cars. If I am right all you need is the one touch close option for it to work

i asked the dealer if my stylance had this feature he said no....i got home and tried it, and it did :)

Even if the windows doesnt open/close from the remote you can change it using a vag-com.

Address 46:Central Conv

You change byte3 to 9C and byte4 to 2D

With this trick you can open all the windows just with holdind the Unlock button and close (fold??) them with the Lock button of the remote

(sorry for my english)

'05 toledo has this feature, dont know about the mirrors as mine aren't electric. Nobody had said it could be done on my car, not even dealer, had it 4mths before i figured it out, and that was because i saw a VW do it and thought VW = Seat so tried it and irt worked!

Just goes to show how much some of these 'salesmen' know about the product they sell !!!

yer, the guy we spoke to before ordering said he never heard of it, then when i flex my payment at him, there was 5 on a boat we could choose from.

Then the Leon we were p/x'ing wasnt made aswell, i did point it out in the carpark and explain that its wasnt a hologram
