Hello Vio.

I used the information that you provided in an earlier post and I can now open/ close my windows using the remote key fob, even though I was told by my dealership that it could not be done. Thanks.

You should have seen the SEAT technician's face when I told him what he needed to do to make it happen.

I would really love to be able to use my remote to fold the electric mirrors too but you say that it cannot be done. Can you tell me how you know this?

It seems to me that there are functions that can be enabled on the various modules of the ECU that even the technicians are not aware of - so why should remote folding mirrors be any different?

Even if the windows doesnt open/close from the remote you can change it using a vag-com.

You change byte3 to 9C and byte4 to 2D

With this trick you can open all the windows just with holdind the Unlock button and close (fold??) them with the Lock button of the remote

You need the vag-com software and a cable from your pc / laptop to the serial port in the car...

Or you pop down to the dealer / could always check the vag-com forum out on here to see if anyone is local to you with the above bits

Sorry to raise an old thread...

Does anyone know why module 46 doesn't show on my 06 Stylance.

The windows operate if I hold key in lock etc and my cable and software are working - I can see other modules but 46 doesn't appear to exist??

Am I doing something wrong?

I asked my dealer to do it on my 06 Stylance and he said it was not possible. Grrr
