Has anyone looked into the one-touch indicators as fitted to MK5 Golfs etc, where you flick the stalk and get 3-4 flashes of indicator?

Was wondering if it would be a possible mod for the LCR. Thinking it may be somekind of timed relay or something.

some may say lala land....
are they the same as the ones in Vauxhall, because i hated them with passion.
you got either all on or nothing and when tried to turn off you ended up indicating in other direction, felt like a complete learner - sorry may not help, but they aren't all cracked up to be i feel

I absolutely agree - drove a new Astra the other week (hire car for some work stuff) and hated the one-touch stalks. They were hyper-sensitive, I also kept accidentally indicating in the opposite direction when trying to turn em off [:@]

They suck IMO - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

They are fitted tyo my Leon and I love them.

When I drove an Astra as a hire car, I hated they way they worked on there!

Must be the Vauxhall implementation then, not that I'm surprised! The indicators I could live with but it was the operation of the wipers etc that did my head in!

The Altea has this feature and it works better. I have driven Astra's and Vectra's and Vauxhall made a complete hash of theirs and the speed sensitive indication (gets louder as speed increases) only suggests to me that the cars are noisy.

If In-pro do something and its cheap-enough it would be a worthwhile mod IMHO.

agree there - another lazy way and possibly dangerous unless people are fully in tune

I've not driven with the Vauxhall system, but from what i understand from being told, thats a self centering stalk that you have to push back in the same direction to cancel too. That right?

I know that some have got teh right idea of what i'm talking about by saying about the 3 flash mod etc, and thats what i mean. On the MK5's i have driven i've found it a great thing on the motorway etc, just thought it might be an easy mod.

I'll look into this InPro one and keep you all posted.

Had this on my 55 plate Passat and thoguht it was a great feature - it's suprising how quick you get used to it and I miss it now - would love to get it on the LCR :D
