Soon as mate, its all down to the time i have to start them...

I found a source for the dashes now... and its now only a point of the gauges and sorting them out.

I will post up on here soon as i have got one.

Regarding sending me a dash, as i said at the beginning, i will send you a dash finished and you send me back your OE one, that way i dont need to find a set all the time and its keeps the cost down and me fully stocked with dashes, otherwise if i finally get hold of a LCR dash then mod it, send it off, i may not find another one for months, if i get sent a OE back, i have another to build!
As for the gauges, the gauges face plate will be made custom, tryin to sort a company on that front soon.

basically I will source three dashes, one grey (prefacelift), one dark grey (FR facelift) and one black (LCR) i will make up each with my guages LCR with the R logo, dark grey with the FR logo and the pre lift version i have yet to sort if they should have a black facing and no writing as they seem to have black dials at that reg I've been told!

Once there done, pictures will be posted up, then orders can be taken once everyones happy with the look. Weather you buy the dash with out without the gauge thats fine, but i expect a OE dash to be send for exchange otherwise i will have to charge for a replacement to keep it stocked for me.

Hope thats ok with everyone?
Will be sorting out soon!

Slick... get in touch with Mook @ Skewer.co.uk (email: [email protected]) and ask him to design something for you. He does custom vinyl's, dials, sun strips, logos... you name it. www.skewer.co.uk has some examples.

If you drop him an email and say RobM from Celica-Club pointed you in his direction he will be able to draw up some designs and give you a price. Once he has the design done he can change any of the lettering, fonts, logos, colours etc and do them on a per-person basis. So if somebody wants something unique, they can have it.

He will probably need to see the original one though, so he can measure up the exact location of each of the PSI points so it stays accurate.

I have had some vinyl's made for a car, a spare wheel cover made and best of all, my custom dials for my Celica and every time the work is fantastic and very high quality!

Check out these links for pics of my dials:

Excellent! Good to hear somebody else who knows his work. His GT4 is looking very nice these days too, there is a section about it on the Skewer website.

You might find that Mook has some of those logos, he tends to keep a lot of them on file if he's been asked for them before.

yeah well do...
First have to wait arrival of the guages then dismantle them, then get onto him for pricing of the custom faces....
In the mean while awaiting the arrival of the dashes to start modding then... then the joys of biting finger nails with the taste of filler under them!!

as i am 1 of the few with the pre facelift cupra i was thinkin something that looked like the cupra badge on the back of mk4 ibiza cupra, u know the squared spaced letterin, not the easist design but something that would look awsome if that badge was on the back as intend to do. i also wanted to know where u fed ur vacuum hose from the boost gauge slick as u have it in the dash already?

15mins of logo searching i've got them all! Just need to convert them to lines and colours that skewers can work with and done....!
Just a point of abit of money and time to finish the dashes for people, hopefully if i get enough time it will be next month sometime, i know that sounds ages away, but then its alot to sort... fabrication, new dials, dismantling then installing, then pre wire the gauges in... finishing then spraying...
Soon as i got them finished, pics will be post and order taken!
