Just been to look at a 2005 Leon Cupra R and i was just wondering if it would still have a valid seat warranty with it? The sales person thought it may have but wasnt 100% sure if it was covered by seat, but said i could get a AA one for £250 on top.

And also could some one tell me if it would have the better coil packs and water pump fitted on it?

I couldnt go for a test drive in it, as how it was placed on the for court it would meen shunting a fair few cars about :( .

Cheers

Ken

SEAT warrenty lasts for 3 years mate so yeah it will still be covered by SEAT for another year, no to the coil packs and water pump they are all shite and i didnt know you could get better coil packs only an improved impellar for your water pump but unless there is history of these being done on the car then i would say you still have the plastic impellar

Cheers for the reply :)

Its only done 15k So not really a big problem if the water pump is just the plastic impellar. I read somewhere that the coil packs off later TTs where better and thats what they replaced them with under warranty. Just wasnt sure if they used the better TT ones on later models?

Is it worth me going for the AA cover on top then if its still under warranty? or wait until after the seat ones expired to take the policy?

Cheers again
